Which beach should I choose?
Open the app. The top of the Today screen names the better beach right now and gives it a score out of 10. Tap "Why this beach?" to see what's driving the difference — usually the wind direction.
Why do both beaches sometimes show the same sea and wind?
Levante and Poniente are close together, so they share the same offshore forecast area for sea temperature and waves. On those days the difference comes from how each beach faces the wind: one is sheltered while the other takes it head-on. The Compare screen shows this side by side.
Why does the app say the beach is "closed" at night?
After dark there's nothing useful to score, so instead of a misleading number the app shows you the best time to go tomorrow.
How accurate is it?
Conditions come from Open-Meteo's weather and marine forecasts and are updated hourly. Forecasts are estimates — always use your own judgement, especially around swimming safety and local flag warnings.
